The domain domain.tld is listed as inactive in the domains list. All attempts to activate the domain from the Server Administration Panel are unsuccessful in leading to the domain's activation.

Domain activation using command line utilities fails with this error:

# /usr/local/psa/bin/domain -u domain.tld -status enabled
An error occurred during domain update: Turn on domain failed

Set the active status for the domain in the Plesk database.

To access the Plesk database, use the following command. Use the real domain name instead of domain.tld.
# mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa

Retrieve the current domain status and make sure that the query returns one row:
mysql> select name, status from domains where name='domain.tld';
| name               | status |
| domain.tld      |     16 |
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

To activate the domain, set status=0 for it:
mysql> update domains set status=0 where name='domain.tld'';
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.02 sec)
Rows matched: 1  Changed: 1  Warnings: 0

After updating the database, it is important to deactivate and activate the domain from the Server Administration Panel for the service's activation.
