ResolutionThe most possible reason of the issue is incorrect value of the VZPRIVRANGE
parameter. It is supposed that the VEID is not in the range of the allowed
VEs. Please, clarify if VEID is in the range pointed in
Consequently, the /proc/vz/hwid file was not created. You can fix the issue in two ways:
1. Edit /etc/sysconfig/vz by typing for the parameter VZPRIVRANGE="1 100000" value.
1.2.run: sysctl -w kernel.vzprivrange="1 100000"
1.3. restart issued VE
If the first method does not help, please, use the second one:
2.1. Edit /etc/sysconfig/vz by typing for the parameter VZPRIVRANGE="1 100000" value
2.2. Restart all VEs: "service vz restart"
