"Mounted" means that the VE filesystem was mounted into the root filesystem of the Hardware Node, but the VE is stopped.
If your VE is going into "Mounted" state, please check the following:
Virtuozzo license: If you exceed the maximum amount of running VEs defined in the license, any VEs exceeding that amount will be stopped in 5 minutes. Please check the following article for more information about Virtuozzo licenses in PVC for Windows or the similar article for Linux version of PVC.
Shutdown inside a VE: If the VE is shut down by its owner (i.e. using
/sbin/shutdown -h, etc.), its state will become Mounted. Start the VE using:
# vzctl start 101
or using PVA / Power Panel.
Normal shutdown procedure leaves the corresponding records in the container's log file
/var/log/messages, like these:
Aug 14 13:24:17 stopped_ct xinetd: Exiting... Aug 14 13:24:17 stopped_ct kernel: Kernel logging (proc) stopped. Aug 14 13:24:17 stopped_ct rsyslogd: [origin software="rsyslogd" swVersion="5.8.10" x-pid="485" x-info="http://www.rsyslog.com"] exiting on signal 15.
initprocess of the container has been killed (e.g. manually with
kill -SIGKILLor by OOM killer activity on the hardware node)
OOM actions over container's processes are recorded in the node's log file, check
/var/log/messagesfor details. The below is an example for CT #1 (
ub 1in the output):
