Parallels Plesk Panel fails with the following error if the "Repair Plesk installation" option is used. (Plesk Reconfigurator -> Repair Plesk Installation -> Select Plesk Server Accounts)
The User name could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800708AD)


Plesk Reconfigurator tries to get an anonymous user from IIS and add it into the "psaserv" group. On Windows 2008, this user is IUSR, but this is the system's built-in account and can be resolved only by the name NT AUTHORITY\IUSR.


Replace the %plesk_bin%\reconfigurator.exe file with the appropriate file from the attachment.

Create a copy of the original file before replacement.
