While installing the application package Drupal 7.0-16 on a domain, you receive the following error:

Error: Installation of Drupal at http://domain.tld/drupal failed.
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function _system_rebuild_theme_data() in /var/www/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs/drupal/includes/ on line 602

You also might find this error message in /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log:

Installation of Drupal at http://domain.tld/drupal_b failed. PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/imap.ini on line 1 in Unknown on line 0

The next installation attempt may complete successfully if you click on the "Install" button again.

Additional Information

The Drupal package appears to be identical to the release version of Drupal 7.0, but there are no problems installing non-APS Drupal 7 manually.

The issue is caused by the hash (#) symbol in the automatically generated password for the Drupal database user.

On the first installation page, click Show all Settings to open up the database user password input field and specify the password, avoiding non-alphanumeric character usage.
