Release notesSince RedHat has dropped GFS1 support in RHEL6 kernel (which is used as the base for Parallels Containers 4.7 kernel) Parallels Containers version 4.7 does not support GFS1 filesystem either. While trying to mount a partition formatted with such filesystem following error will be shown:
# mount /vz
/sbin/mount.gfs: node not a member of the default fence domain
/sbin/mount.gfs: error mounting lockproto lock_dlm
Considering this circumstance there is no upgrade path onto the version 4.7 for Parallels Containers cluster built using GFS1 filesystem.
