How to upgrade Plesk with the latest version of autoinstaller?


To update or upgrade your Plesk installation through the command line:

  1. Download the Plesk Installer utility for your operating system from and save it on your server's hard drive. You can do this in the following ways:


    Open a web browser on the server and download the required Plesk installer.


    Download the Plesk Installer using the wget utility. For example:

    # wget link_to_Plesk_installer
  2. Run the Plesk Installer.


    # chmod +x Plesk_installer_file_name
    # ./Plesk_installer_file_name

    You can also use the Plesk autoinstaller - "/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller". Simply launch the autoinstaller and follow the on-screen instructions.


    For Windows, use the following command:

    Plesk_installer_file_name --console

    Or use the Plesk autoinstaller:

    "%plesk_bin%"\ai.exe --console
