Follow these steps to install the commercial version of AtMail as the default webmail client for all domains:

1. Obtain the AtMail 6 distribution from

2. Setup the AtMail application within a separate domain on the same server with Plesk Panel (Do not use the document root directory for installation - e.g. http://domain.tld. Instead use the subdirectory - e.g. http://domain.tld/atmailwebmail).

3. Disable the existing Horde webmail:
# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --disable --name=horde

4. Disable the existing Atmail webmail:
#/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --disable --name=atmailcom

5. Remove the existing Atmail webmail:
#/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --remove --name=atmailcom
# rm -rf /etc/psa-webmail/atmailcom

6. Restore the AtMail configuration from the archive obtained on step 1:
# cp -r PATH_TO_EXTRACTED_FILES/atmailcom /etc/psa-webmail/

Note: PATH_TO_EXTRACTED_FILES is the file path extracted from the archive downloaded in step 1.

7. Edit /etc/psa-webmail/{atmailcom.conf and configure the Docroot directive to a point on the directory where the newly installed AtMail instance resides:
# sed "s|^Docroot.*|Docroot=installFolder|" /etc/psa-webmail/atmailcom/atmailcom.conf > /etc/psa-webmail/atmailcom/atmailcom.tmp && mv /etc/psa-webmail/atmailcom/atmailcom.tmp /etc/psa-webmail/atmailcom/atmailcom.conf
installFolder above is the full path to the AtMail directory, e.g. /var/www/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs/atmailwebmail

8. Configure open_basedir restrictions for the AtMail virtual host:
sed -i 's/php_admin_value open_basedir \"\/usr\/local\/atmail\:\/tmp\"/php_admin_value open_basedir \"\/usr\/local\/atmail\:\/tmp\:@WEBMAIL_DOCROOT@\"/g' /etc/psa-webmail/atmailcom/atmailcom_vhost.conf

9. Register new Atmail as the Webmail client:
# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --install --name=atmailcom
# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --enable --name=atmailcom
