Sometime "Unspecified error (COM Error 80004005)" error is occurs.
For example:

1. Parallels Plesk Panel 9.5.4
C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>statistics.exe
Unspecified error (COM Error 80004005) at getDomainLogDirectory for domain =
at (getDomainLogDirectory line 1873)
at Calculate domain(s) traffic(statistics::start line 1216)
Error message "Unspecified error (COM Error 80004005)" means basically nothing. However, it usually occur when IIS was reinstalled and IIS 6 compatibility mode (Metabase and WMIC) for IIS7 was not installed.
2. Parallels Plesk Panel 10.3.1
Reconfigurator.exe GUI simply fails when click on 'Repair installation' from command line:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>reconfigurator.exe /check=Accounts
Unhandled Exception: System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer fo

Go to Windows 2008 Server Manager, 'Roles -> Web Server (IIS) -> Add Role Services' and install 'IIS 6 Management Compatibility' services. Parallels Plesk Panel installs these services during installation, but if you accidentally remove it, you will have such errors.
