Prepare a host to install PVA Management Node to:

  1. Create the Container:

    vzctl create 50 --pkgset w2k3 --hostname pva-mn.domain.tld

NOTE: The OS template name may differ between various installations (e.g., w2k3, w2k8, w2k8r2). Make sure you are using the correct OS template.

  2. Set Container parameters and limits:

vzctl set 50 --save --vprvmem 1024 --numproc 120 --diskspace 20000000 --offline_management no --ipadd --userpasswd Administrator:"Pa$$w0rd4PvA" --nameserver

  3. Start the Container:

    vzctl start 50

For 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x86_64) Hardware Nodes, follow these steps:

  1. Login to the newly created container
  2. Download the PVA Management Node distribution
  3. Unzip the archive.
  4. Open the extracted folder and launch pva-setup-gui.exe
