When applying web server reconfiguration in Parallels Plesk Panel, it fails with this error:

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 87 of /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/generated/13273049690.92094900_server.include:
JkWorkersFile only allowed once

This error is caused by a JkWorkersFile directive that was manually added to the Apache configuration. Parallels Plesk Panel 9.x had no built-in support for the mod_jk plugin, so it was necessary to add mod_jk directives to Apache configurations manually to make Java applications available. For example:

# cat /etc/httpd/conf.d/jkzz.conf
 <IfModule mod_jk.c>
 JkWorkersFile /usr/share/tomcat5/conf/
 JkLogFile /var/log/httpd/mod_jk.log
 JkLogLevel info
 JkLogStampFormat "[%a %b %d %H:%M:%S %Y] "

Parallels Plesk Panel 10.4.4 has built-in support for mod_jk. However, previously configured settings can lead to failed Apache configuration re-generation during and after an upgrade procedure.

Comment all customized mod_jk directives in Apache configurations, and reconfigure settings with the following command:

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all
