This article describes the workaround for when it is not possible to set the number of full backups on backup task creation in PVA.

When one creates a scheduled task to back up virtual environments in PVA Control Center > Management Scheduler > New Task: Back Up Virtual Environments, there is no field to set the Number of full backups to keep.
In the configuration screen of the resulting task, the field will be empty.

This is a known issue which is scheduled to be fixed in one of the new versions of PVA Management Node.

It is possible to set the parameter after the task creation.

Go to Management > Scheduler > Task: New Task > Configure, set the desired number of backups to keep, and submit changes.
