1. What's Included in This Update

New packages for Parallels Server Bare Metal provide user-level tool
fixes for managing Containers and virtual machines.

2. Problem Description

This update contains the following new feature:

- Traffic filtering by an IP address for Containers with bridged networking

This update contains fixes for the following issues:

- The Time Zone settings may change in a Windows virtual machine when executing
  the prlctl backup utility. (PSBM-9796)

- The VNC server may not work properly for virtual machines running Debian 6.

- A virtual machine may get lost during its online migration from a server with
  Parallels Server for Mac 4 to a server running Parallels Server Bare Metal 5.

- A server may work unstable if the running virtual machines are configured to
  use more RAM than is actually available on the server. (PSBM-10386)

- The 'prl_nettool" utility may not work in virtual machines running Windows
  Server 2003. (PSBM-10629)

- Installing a guest OS in a virtual machine may fail if the location of
  CD/DVD-ROM is changed during installation. (PSBM-10672)

- A temporary snapshot created during the virtual machine backup is not removed
  if the backup process fails. (PSBM-10764)

- Parallels Server Bare Metal now supports the new naming scheme of network
  interfaces (em[X]) introduced in RHEL6. (PSBM-10839)

- Installing Parallels Server Bare Metal on the root partition of an iSCSI
  storage may fail. (PSBM-11329)

- Support for the PBDU guard has been added to bridged network interfaces.

- A number of stability issues have been fixed for the backup process of
  virtual machines. (PSBM-11659)

- The description of the "--dst" option for "prlct restore" has been added.

- A virtual machine running for more than 49 days may hang in the "stopping"
  state. (PSBM-11748)

Besides, update contains a number of stability and Containers and virtual
machines networking fixes.

All Parallels Server Bare Metal users are advised to update their tools

3. Obtaining the Update

 You can download and install this tools update using the 'vzup2date' utility
 included in the Parallels Server Bare Metal distribution.

4. Installing the Update

 Use the 'vzup2date' command to install the new Parallels Server Bare Metal
 tools packages.

 The update does require Parallels Server Bare Metal restart or system
