It is necessary to install a Microsoft update, but the update is not listed as supported on the Virtuozzo website.

Is it safe to install the update on the Hardware Node?

Some updates can be installed even if they are not listed on the website. However, it is necessary to check whether the update matches any of these conditions:

  1. The update is a Limited Distribution Release and has to be installed manually. Make sure the update can be found in a Knowledgebase search as supported in a Virtuozzo containers update.
  2. The update introduces a driver that is not loaded inside a container.
  3. The update does not bring any changes to drivers, .NET Framwework, or PowerShell.

Otherwise, it is not recommended that you install the update.
