When trying to manage APS applications in Parallels Plesk Panel Web Interface, e.g., when downloading an APS application from the APS catalog, the following error is shown:

ERROR: Exception
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.95-0ubuntu1]Memory allocation error

The above error may also appear during the restore/migration procedures.

The issue is caused by a bug in MySQL 5.

This bug was fixed in ODBC 3.51.21, so simply upgrading the connector package will resolve the problem.

Note: This version is not available for Ubuntu 8.04.

Workaround for Ubuntu 8.04

If you are running Ubuntu 8.04, you can either downgrade MySQL back to the 4.1 version or upgrade the OS to Ubuntu 10.04.
