Backup tasks stall on the Parallels Plesk Panel (PP) server.


The issue may be caused by the AVAST! antivirus program interfering with the normal workings of PP.


Temporarily switch off the antivirus program and try running the backup task again.


If the tasks stop failing after disabling AVAST!, switch off the resident protection for email and add a folder where customers' files are located to exclusions.
