I have created a php file on Plesk Panel domain:
*php script*

Opening this file in browser leads to a blank page.
I go to Control Panel for my domain in Plesk Panel:  Websites&Domains > select domain > PHP Settings and set the value “~E_ALL”, “E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE” or “E_ALL” (any of non-default).

However, no errors are being written into log files in the domain.tld/statistics folder

Note: to find the value of $HTTPD_VHOSTS_D depending on product version and operating system please refer to the following article:
952 Commands are listed in knowledge base contain variables like $PRODUCT_ROOT_D, $HTTPD_VHOSTS_D, etc... How do I find their values?

The “error_reporting” value must be numeric for virtual hosts configurations.
The issue is going to be fixed in one of future updates of Parallels Plesk Panel.

Select “Enter custom value” option and enter numeric value, 6135 for instance.

After that you will be able to view the actual errors in your PHP script in virtual host logs.
