I cannot activate mail service on a domain; it fails with this error:

Error: Unable to create Mailmanager object: mailmng failed: MerakCOM.APIObject.OpenDomain failed for name=domain.tld

Either the installed version of IceWarp (Merak) Mail Server is unsupported, or mail configuration for the domain has become corrupted.

1. Make sure that the installed version of IceWarp (Merak) Mail Server is supported by the installed Parallels Plesk Panel version. The Merak Mail Server version can be found in the following registry key:

For 32-bit systems:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IceWarp\Merak Mail server\version"
For 64-bit systems:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WoW6432NODE\IceWarp\Merak Mail server\version"

2. If the version is supported, you may fix the issue by executing the mchk utility for the domain:

For 32-bit systems:
C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>mchk.exe --domain --domain-name=domain.tld
For 64-bit systems:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>mchk.exe --domain --domain-name=domain.tld

Note: Replace domain.tld with the actual domain name.

Warning: The above command repairs Mail Server configuration forcefully, according to the Parallels Plesk Panel database. All custom settings will be destroyed. This command also stops the mail server while it is running.
