Subscription that was provisioned through Customer and Business Manager becomes locked on trying to change PHP settings on Websites & Domains > edit domain > PHP Settings tab under Plesk admin account. There is no possibility to change anything on the side of subscription owner. After unlocking and synchronizing the subscription PHP settings are reset to the defaults.

'Properties' page of each plan contains a couple of important options with not-so-obvious names, and the combination of these options will eliminate the issue described. The reason of such behavior is that not all necessary options are enabled for this plan.

The following flags should be checked:

1 Common PHP settings management (see screenshot below): enabling this option will allow you to change all common settings on 'PHP Settings' page
2 Hosting performance settings management (see screenshot below): this option will make possible to change all performance settings on 'PHP Settings' page

If it is necessary, specific PHP settings can be configured directly in Plan on the same Properties page. To open the available PHP properties for editing it is necessary to click 'show' link near PHP settings section (see screenshot below)
