It is not possible to start a container, and you see the error dwErr=0x00000420:
C:\Documents and Settings\administrator>vzctl start 100
Starting container ...
ERROR: Parallels Virtuozzo Containers API function call 'VzkrnlStartVps' failed

The error code 0x00000420 means that another instance of a service is running. This happens if services are started in the wrong order.
Most likely, the service group "Network" has been added to the top of Service Group Order list as the result of installing network-related software inside the container.
Normally, the service group Network should not be included in this list.

1. Mount the container registry:
vzctl mount CTID
NOTE: Replace CTID with actual container ID.

2. Open the registry editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\vzCTID\MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ServiceGroupOrdervalue, and find the List value.
NOTE: Replace CTID with actual container ID.

3. Remove the "Network" group from the list and verify that the top of the list looks similar to this list:
System Reserved
Boot Bus Extender
System Bus Extender
SCSI miniport
Primary Disk
SCSI Class
FSFilter Infrastructure
FSFilter System
FSFilter Bottom
FSFilter Copy Protection
FSFilter Security Enhancer

4. Save changes and start the container.
