managing users inside of a container leads to a following error:

edquota: Can't write quota for 32063 on /dev/vzfs: No such process
Resetting quota for admin2 to 0 Meg....Done

Second-level quota limit has been exceeded, and user quotas that were above the limit were not loaded.

Increase the QUOTAUGIDLIMIT parameter value for the container to a number that is greater than the number of users and groups that were created (or that were supposed to have been created) in the container.

  1. Check the current usage of second-level quotas in Container #101 (commands should be executed from the Hardware Node side):

    wc -l _/vz/root/101/etc/_{passwd,group}
    95 /vz/root/101/etc/passwd
    107 /vz/root/101/etc/group
    202 total
  2. Increase the QUOTAUGIDLIMIT parameter using vzctl utility on the Node:

    vzctl set 101 --save --quotaugidlimit 210
  3. To apply the changes, it is necessary to restart the container in question:

    vzctl restart 101
