Service Plan is opened for long time: "APS Catalog error: name lookup timed out" or unable to install APS applicatiopn

Parallels Plesk Panel > Hosting Services > Service Plans > Default Domain

The following error is shown in Plesk log file:

2012-08-29T13:10:15+07:00 ERR (3): APS Catalog error: name lookup timed out
2012-08-29T13:10:45+07:00 ERR (3): Unable to get APS Applications list: name lookup timed out

APS catalog servers are not resolved from Parallels Plesk Panel server. The servers are configured in file /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/aps/catalogs.ini:

~# cat /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/aps/catalogs.ini
type = marketplace
url =
protocol = all-app

type = apscatalog
url =

Check the servers are not resolved:

~# host
Host not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

~# host
Host not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Verify and reconfigure domain resolves on Plesk server. As a workaround you may add the records into /etc/hosts file:

cat /etc/hosts
