Symptoms

After entering the Windows virtual machine via prlctl enter command it is not possible to use WMI console, it does not respond to entered commands:
[root@myserver ~]# prlctl enter VMName
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation.  All rights reserved.

C:\>wmic
wmic
product get
quit


Resolution

There are two possible ways around:
1. Use non-interactive mode of WMIC:
[root@myserver ~]# prlctl enter VMName
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7600]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation.  All rights reserved.

C:\>wmic product get name
Name
Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.6 update VZU460002
Visual C++ 2008 x64 Runtime - (v9.0.30729)
Visual C++ 2008 x86 Runtime - (v9.0.30729)

2. Terminate lines with ^D (Ctrl+D) key sequence:
[root@myserver ~]# prlctl enter VMName

"/?" for help, QUIT to Exit.
