Symptoms

After upgrading to Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.7, old backups stored on remote backup nodes cannot be managed anymore.

Cause

Server groups are not used in the latest version of Parallels Virtual Automation.

Resolution

1)    Make sure the source node (where Containers are stored) has PVA Agent installed and is not registrered with any PVA Management Servers.
2)    Make sure the remote backup node has PVA Agent installed and is not registrered with any PVA Management Servers.
3)    Set the remote backup node as default using the Parallels Management Console supplied with your product.
