When launching an application that uses cygwin the following error is displayed:
System shared memory version mismatch detected
This error occurs when several applications that use different versions of cygwin are installed (e.g. ClamAV antivirus, Webalizer statistics).
To solve the problem the software using cygwin might need configuring /updating /reinstalling so all of the applications should use cygwin of the same version. Otherwise, if this solution does not help, remove all applications which use cygwin and keeping only required applications.
