A Virtual Machine with RHEL/CentOS 6.x guest operating system hangs with black screen.

e1000 0000:00:05.0: eth0: Reset adapter

There are two bugs with the e1000 driver included in RHEL 6.x: one is fixed in kernels 2.6.32-196 onward, and the other is fixed permanently in RHEL 6.4.

Update the guest OS to RHEL/CentOS 6.4 or newer, and make sure host has Update 8 Hotfix 8 or newer installed.
