A Hardware Node has two or more physical NICs plugged in to the same network switch. Containers on such network are not accessible over the assigned IP addresses.

Such configuration is not preferred, unless physical NICs are placed in VLANs or teamed into the bonding interface.

Avoid such configurations when several physical NICs are plugged in to a single switch without VLANs or bonding.

Alternatively, it is possible to disable reverse path checks on those physical interfaces:

[root@myserver ~]# sysctl net.ipv4.conf.eth0.rp_filter=0 net.ipv4.conf.eth1.rp_filter=0 net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter=0

In order to preserve changes after reboot, make sure these settings are present in /etc/sysctl.conf

net.ipv4.conf.eth0.rp_filter = 0
net.ipv4.conf.eth1.rp_filter = 0
net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter = 0

NOTE: Replace eth0 and eth1 with actual adapters' names.
