A backup task over the network to a shared folder fails; at the same time, a local backup completes successfully. In PVA Agent logs, you can find similar errors:

According to the log error, the cause of the problem is that the connection has been terminated:

The specified network name is no longer available

The most likely reason for the issue is a timeout in an SMB session that terminates the connection.


To solve the problem, increase the SessionTimeout value in the registry:
