Migration report contains errors:

Error: mysql "database_name"
Failed to execute backup database

The problem may be caused by special symbols in the Plesk administrator's password on the source server. If a password in the file /etc/psa/.psa.shadow on the source server contains the symbols # or =, then the solution provided in this article applies.

The problem has been fixed in Parallels Plesk Panel 11.0.9 Micro-Update #42 (release notes).

If the problem is affecting a previous version of Plesk, open the file /usr/local/psa/PMM/agents/shared/Db/ in the text editor and find the following line:

print OPTSFILE "[mysqldump]\npassword=" . $self->{password};

Change the line to the one below (specific changes are highlighted in red):

print OPTSFILE "[mysqldump]\npassword=\"" . $self->{password} . "\"";

After that, repeat the migration attempt.
