The Mail Queue tab on Tools & Settings > Mail Server Settings won't stop loading.


There are too many messages in the mail queue. The backend utility mailqueuemng is attempting to read information about them all, which takes a lot of time and may lead to a control panel timeout.


Check how many messages are in the mail queue:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailqueuemng -s
A large number of messages in the mail queue may indicate that the server is experiencing problems with mail delivery or is being exploited to send out spam. Check the following articles for information on how to track spammers on the server:

  • #766   The server is saturated with SPAM. There are many messages in the queue. The mail is sent slowly.
