Nothing happens when trying to download migration agent from Tools & Settings > Migration & Transfer Manager using Internet Explorer 9 installed on server edition of Microsoft Windows.


Internet Explorer on server editions of Microsoft Windows is configured to prevent file downloads.


  1. Enable the ability to download files in IE through Tools > Internet options > Security > Internet > Custom level > Downloads.

  2. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer 9, click 'Internet Options', click the 'Advanced' tab, click to clear the check mark from the 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk' check box in the 'Security' area, and then click 'OK' (
