Description

Parallels has released updated Parallels kernel versions (2.6.32-042stab078.27 for PVCL 4.6 and 2.6.32-042stab078.27 for PVCFL 4.7, PSBM 5.0 and PCS 6.0) to address a vulnerability. All customers are strongly advised to update the kernel for their specific products as soon as possible.

Symptoms

Parallels Development Team has identified a potential vulnerability with RHEL 6.4 and RHEL 5.9 on certain product versions of the following:

•    Parallels Cloud Server 6.0
•    Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Linux 4.7
•    Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Linux 4.6
•    Parallels Server Bare Metal 5.0

Recommendation

Parallels has released updated Parallels kernel versions (2.6.32-042stab078.27 for PVCL 4.6 and 2.6.32-042stab078.27 for PVCFL 4.7, PSBM 5.0 and PCS 6.0) to address a vulnerability. All customers are strongly advised to update the kernel for their specific products as soon as possible.
