1. What's Included in This Update

The new packages for Parallels Virtuozzo Containers intoduce a new feature and
provide fixes for user-level Container management tools.

2. Problem Description

The new packages introduce the following feature:

- Online conversion of VZFS4-based Containers to the Container-in-an-image-file
  (ploop) layout (#PSBM-18696). With the vzmigrate --convert-vzfs --online
  command, VZFS4-based Containers can now be converted to the
  Container-in-an-image-file (ploop) layout without restarting. Destination
  servers should be running Parallels Cloud Server 6.0 Update 3 Hotfix 3 (See

The new packages contain fixes for the following issues:

#PCLIN-31942: A Container with a large sparse file inside could fail to migrate.

#PCLIN-31794: A Container's disk space could shrink after converting it to the
              Container-in-a-image-file (ploop) layout if the disk quota was
              disabled on the source node.

All Parallels Virtuozzo Containers users are advised to update their tools

3. Obtaining the Update

 You can download and install this tools update using the "vzup2date" utility
 included in the Parallels Containers 4.7 distribution.

4. Installing the Update

 Use the "vzup2date" command to install the new Parallels Virtuozzo Containers
 tools packages.

 The update does not require Parallels Virtuozzo Containers restart or system
