Release Notes

Parallels is pleased to introduce the new Micro-Update #7 for the 11.5.30 version of Parallels Plesk Panel (PP).

The 11.5.30 MU#7 update is recommended for all PP users and includes general functionality fixes that improve the stability, compatibility, and security of your PP server.

To ensure optimal server reliability and security, Parallels strongly recommends keeping your operating system and PP software up-to-date.

What's Changed

[*] In some cases, Panel did not offer upgrading of APS applications to newer versions when such versions were available in the local application catalog

The following issues have been fixed:

[-] Resellers were unable to manage their own and their customers' databases via API RPC (69222)
[-] (Linux only) A message in API RPC responses from Panel contained spelling errors (87724)
[-] Panel did not provide clear descriptions of Control Panel and FTP access credentials on the subscription creation page (91869)
[-] After migration from Plesk 8, customers did not see the Users tab in the Control Panel (137525)
[-] (Linux only) Panel did not change the server hostname in etc/mailname when administrators changed it in the Panel GUI (138214)
[-] (Linux only) Panel firewall incorrectly blocked most outgoing connections (139010, 139011, 139012)
[-] Customers could not remove a domain from mailbox's spam filter white list if this domain was included in the server-wide white list (80758)
[-] (Linux only) The execution of the reconfigurator utility failed if Panel administrator's password included special symbols, such as double quotes (") (87450)
[-] (Linux only) The variables <reseller_contact_name> and <reseller_login> in the Site creation notification were not replaced with the appropriate values (125880)
[-] (Linux only) After upgrading nginx from version 1.3 to version 1.5, it failed to start if there were more than 200 domains on the server (139542)
[-] (Linux only) Panel users could not create mail accounts with antivirus by means of the mail command line utility (139547)
[-] (Linux only) Site visitors saw the error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS when opening a domain or its alias if the alias included its parent domain name, for example, alias for the domain (139673)
[-] (Linux only) After upgrading from Plesk 9 to Panel 11.5, the execution of the mchk utility failed with the error "Segmentation fault" (139708)
[-] (Linux only) Panel failed to back up a subscription if it included files owned by Apache, with no reading permission for others, for example, saved-session files (139869)
[-] Extension developers could not restrict the ability to sort lists in their extensions by certain columns (139874)
[-] (Windows only) Panel returned non-informative API RPC responses to requests for creating subscriptions with permissions that cannot be provided in these subscriptions (96520)
[-] (Windows only) Panel raised an internal server error when customers changed a subdomain's hosting type to No web hosting if its parent domain already had this hosting type (139573)
[-] (Windows only) Panel raised an internal server error when customers changed the ASP.NET version for a virtual directory (139602)
[-] (Windows only) Panel did not inform administrators that changing log rotation settings in a service plan does not affect existing subscriptions (136397)
[-] (Windows only) During Panel installation, Panel returned error codes as decimal numbers, making it difficult to find additional information on these errors (138658)
[-] (Windows only) Administrators could not upgrade Parallels Presence Builder if a custom PHP version was installed on the server (139586)
