  1. When you start the virtual machine using Parallels Management Console (or simply try to connect VM to bridged network), you receive the following error message:

The physical network adapter connected to virtual network adapter 1 does not exist.
  2. You recently had a hardware change

Bridged network is tied to the MAC address of the NIC. The MAC address of the NIC has changed with the hardware change, and the bridged interface cannot be found on the system.

Re-create Bridged Virtual Network in the Parallels Management Console:

  1. Right-click on the server in question

  2. Choose Edit Settings

  3. Select the Bridged Virtual Network and click on the - sign below the list

  4. Click on the + sign below the list and create a new bridged network, tied to the correct network adapter

  5. Verify virtual machines to use the new bridged network in case you changed the name of the virtual network
