  • Applies to:
  • Virtuozzo containers for Linux 4.7
  • Virtuozzo hypervisor
  • Virtual Automation 6.0

  1. In Power Panel you see the option "Connect to container via VNC", but it does not work.
  2. You have Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.7 or Parallels Server Bare Metal 5.0 installed on the hardware node.

The issue is recognized as a product bug with internal ID PVA-33138.

VNC connection to containers has been introduced in Parallels Cloud Server and Parallels Virtual Automation 6.0, but since the same PVA version is shared with older versions as well, the menu option is present there. The link to the Console should be hidden for the Virtozzo versions which do not support it.

This issue will be fixed in future PVA releases and after update the link will disappear.

If "VNC Console" functionality is required, perform the upgrade to Parallels Cloud Server:
Parallels Cloud Server Upgrade Guide

Note:In container overview tab of PVA MN control panel VNC Console connection option was removed for containers on PVC4.7\PSBM5.0 nodes since PVA MN release 6.0-2135
