It's not possible to install kernel updates via vzup2date, the following error is shown :

    042stab079.6.x86_64 needs 5MB on the /boot filesystem

/boot partition does not have enough free space.
On each kernel update, a new kernel is installed on /boot partition, filling it up with time.

Delete unused kernels:

  1. Check the current kernel:

    ~# uname -r
  2. List all installed kernels:

~# rpm -qa | grep vzkernel
  3. Leave 2-3 of the most recent kernels and remove the older ones:

    ~# rpm -e vzkernel-2.6.32-042stab075.2.x86_64 vzmodules-2.6.32-042stab075.2.x86_64
