Cannot change password for a Plesk domain in the Customer Panel, I receive the following error in the PBA-S Action Log:
System user initing was failed. Error: Do not use quotes, space and national alphabet characters in a password. The password length should be between 4 and 14
The domain in question is located on a Plesk 9.x node and the password you are typing does not comply with Plesk 9.x password policy. According to Parallels Plesk Panel 9.5: Client's Guide
Specify a user name and password that will be used for accessing the web space through FTP and publishing the Web page. You can use only lower-case alphanumeric, hyphen and underscore symbols in user name. The user name should begin with an alphabet character. It cannot contain white spaces. The password cannot contain quotation marks, white space, user's login name, and should be between 5 and 14 characters in length.
Set a new password that does not contain quotes, space and national alphabet characters. The password length should be between 4 and 14. Please also note that Parallels Plesk Panel 9 has reached its End-Of-Life and Extended Support end as it is stated in the Plesk Lifecycle Policy.
Please consider upgrading your EOLed Plesk installations to the latest version.
