After the installation of Parallels Cloud Server 6.0 Update 4,
df shows incorrect value in the "Used" and "Use%" columns :
[root@host ~]# df -h | grep // Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on pstorage://pcs1 2.6T 1.6T 1.1T 61% /pstorage/pcs1 [root@host ~]# pstorage -c pcs1 stat | egrep 'Space:|FS:' Space: [OK] allocatable 1TB of 2.5TB, free 4.5TB of 5.1TB FS: 318GB in 218118 files, 218117 inodes, 136277 file maps, 141191 chunks, 282382 chunk replicas
Allocatable space calculation on Parallels Cloud Storage has been changed in Update 4 (details here), which broke the output of
df command. Currently the columns display the following information :
- Size - Total space in cluster
- Used - Total free space in cluster
- Avail - Allocatable space in cluster
- Use% - The percentage of free space in cluster
In the scope of the request PSBM-22803, the behaviour should be changed - the license limit should be used in calculation of total and free disk space..
It is recommended to install pending updates, since the fix for PSBM-22803 is included in Parallels Cloud Server 6.0 update 4 hotfix 2.
