Migration task in Parallels Automation products might fail with the output in task details as follows:

Operation with the Container "test123" is finished with errors:
Can not migrate: exec vzmsrc failed [5376] : Connection to destination node ( is successfully established 
Moving/copying CT#12345 -> CT#12345, [], [] ... 
Checking external bind mounts 
Check cluster ID 
Checking keep dir for private area copy 
Checking license restrictions 
Checking technologies 
Checking disk usage space 
Checking templates for CT 
Can not connect to //var/tmp/ 
Can't move/copy CT#12345 -> CT#12345, [], [] : Can not connect to //var/tmp/
Checking IP addresses on destination node 
Check target CT name: test123 Tracker started Copy private area '/vz/private/12345' .

The following line is especially significant:

Can not connect to //var/tmp/


This behavior is caused by an issue in Virtuozzo Tools and it is registered as PCLIN-30084.


It was fixed in Virtuozzo Tools Update 4.7.0-119.

Make sure that your server is up-to-date, install all pending updates by executing following command:

# vzup2date -m batch install --self-update --tools --core --loader-autoconfig
