It is not possible to use vzlcon utility to post XML API requests to the PVA management node:

[root@pva ~]# /opt/pva/mn/bin/vzlcon
<packet version="4.0.0"> <target>agent</target><data><error><code>"1"</code> <message>connect to /var/opt/pva/agent/agent.sock failed: 2</message></error></data></packet> script fails with the following error:

[root@pva ~]# ./ -name=root -password='password' -host=<IP Address> -packet='<packet version="4.0.0"><data><system><get_version/></system></data></packet>'
Connection refused: Connection refused at ./ line 32.

PVA installation comes with the vzlcon binary from PVA Agent package, and it contains a hardcoded reference to the PVA Agent socket.

Create the following symlink:

~# mkdir -p /var/opt/pva/agent
~# ln -s /var/opt/pva/mn/mn.sock /var/opt/pva/agent/agent.sock

connect to /var/opt/pva/agent/agent.sock failed
