  • Applies to:
  • Odin Business Automation Standard 4.2
  • Odin Business Automation Standard 4.1
  • Virtuozzo containers for Linux 4.0
  • Virtuozzo containers for Windows 4.0

Symptoms

With our PBA-S, tasks on Parallels Virtuozzo Containers have not been processed for a few hours so far. For example: a task on container migration is still has Pending status (Top > Configuration Director > Logging and Errors > Action Log > Tasks Queue)

Checking destination hardware node <HW_NODE> before migrating Container <CTID> Pending

It is not initiated yet after more than 2 hours.

Cause

The issue is likely caused by outdated PBA-S version 4.1.6 and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers version 4.0.0. Moreover these applications have reached EOL:

End of life policy for Parallels Business Automation Standard

End of life policy for Parallels server virtualization products

Resolution

Upgrade PBA-S 4.1.6 and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 to recent versions.
