Network adapter emulation for a Virtual Machine can be set as either Intel or Realtek (by default during virtual machine creation, the network card is configured as Intel):

# prlctl list MyVM-realtek -i | grep card
  net0 (+) dev='vme49215a6f.0' network='Bridged' mac=001C42F1D974 card=rtl ips='10.20.30.40/255.255.255.0 ' gw='10.20.1.1'

# prlctl list MyVM-intel -i | grep card
  net0 (+) dev='vme49215a6f.0' network='Bridged' mac=001C42F1D974 card=e1000 ips='11.22.33.44/255.255.255.0 ' gw='11.22.1.1'

The adapter can be changed using the following commands:

# prlctl stop MyVM-realtek
# prlctl set MyVM-realtek --device-set net0 --adapter-type e1000

(e1000 for Intel, rtl for Realtek)
