MySQL ODBC connector 5.1.5r1144is installed on the server:
# rpm -qa | grep mysql-connector mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.5r1144-7.el6.x86_64
Alternatively, if the currently installed ODBC connector is corrupted, the following command returns non-empty results:

rpm -Uvh <package_name> --force
Check that the symlink
/tmp/mysql.sockexists and points to the MySQL socket. The location of the MySQL socket can be found in
# grep sock /etc/my.cnf socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
/tmp/mysql.sockdoes not exist, create it:
# ln -s /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock /tmp/mysql.sock
NOTE: If you encounter this error:
Message [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/lib64/unixODBC/libmyodbc5.so' : file not found
Then create the link with this command:
ln -s /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5w.so libmyodbc5.so
If the steps above did not help, ensure that '
APS_DB_DRIVER_LIBRARY' directive in
/etc/psa/psa.conf points to the correct instance of
libmysqlserver.so which is shipped by the following packages:
Note: You should have the only one instance of
rdbmspp package installed.
