Symptoms

It is not possible to start repair mode for any container.

The following error is shown in the task log after going to Power Panel > Maintenance > Repair Mode > Start Repair:

Operation with the Container "XXX.XXXX.XX" is finished with errors: 
Error invoking external utility: 
vzctl create CTID failed: 
Creating Container private area (template name) with applications from config (yyy.conf-sample) 
dumpe2fs  (date0) 
Failed to resize image: 
Unable to change image size to AAAA  sectors, minimal size is BBBBB  .

Cause

The default diskspace limit of the temporary container for repair mode is not enough.

Resolution

Edit /var/opt/pva/agent/etc/repair/repairve.conf to increase the diskspace limit:

[root@vz ~]# grep DISK /var/opt/pva/agent/etc/repair/repairve.conf
DISKSPACE="1000000:1000000"
DISKINODES="1000000:1000000"

[root@vz ~]# vi /var/opt/pva/agent/etc/repair/repairve.conf

[root@vz ~]# grep DISK /var/opt/pva/agent/etc/repair/repairve.conf
DISKSPACE="20000000:20000000"
DISKINODES="20000000:20000000"
