VA Agent service fails to start with the following error:
C:\Windows\system32>net start pvaagent The PVA Agent service is starting. The PVA Agent service could not be started. A service specific error occurred: 4294967295.
The service fails to start because a missing configuration file.
On startup, VA Agent service loads all its configuration files.
First, it loads the service-specific settings from
C:\Program Files(x86)\Parallels\Parallels Virtual Automation\Agent\bin\PVA.conf.
Then it evaluates all files that are found in the
etc_folder, defined in PVA.conf:
<argv> <name>etc_folder</name> <value>C:\vz\PVA\Agent\Data\etc</value> </argv>
The following files should exist and be valid inside the
database.conf vzagent.conf VZAVpsAgent.conf vzlmail.conf
vzagent.conf is the most important file and contains all the settings that define VA Agent behavior.
Restore the missing or corrupted configuration files. All of them, except
vzagent.conf are default, if not altered manually, and can be copied over from a neighbor node.
vzagent.conf is missing or corrupted, it is required to fully reinstall PVA Agent to restore it.
