The following error message appears while accessing Plesk or during installation:
Unable to obtain secret key for passwords encryption
The Plesk upgrade or installation failed.
To fix the encryption error, regenerate the encryption key:
You may see the following error:
# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/encrypt_keygen Unable to generate new key - key file exists
However, this utility fixes permissions for encryption key file in this case, so the error can be ignored.
Run the Bootstrapper script with the below parameters to fix upgrade issues:
if the case is upgrade to Plesk 12.5.30,
<version>should be 12.5.30
