Disk space usage is reported incorrectly inside a container,
df -h shows wrong amount of used space than the container actually occupiess. Example:
[root@vz ~]# du -sh /vz/root/821 636M /vz/root/821 [root@pvclinux64 ~]# vzctl exec 821 df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/vzfs 50G 46G 3.5G 92% / none 512M 4.0K 512M 1% /dev none 512M 0 512M 0% /dev/shm
vzquota stat also shows wrong disk usage for the container even after its restart.
vzquota may get hung for some containers and should be reinitialized completely.
Stop the container:
# vzctl stop $CTID
Drop the quota file:
# vzquota drop $CTID
Check that quota file was removed from the container's private area:
# ls -l /vz/private/$CTID/quota.fs
After container startup vzquota should be reinitialized and the correct values should be displayed.
# vzctl start $CTID
