Error "HTTP Error 404.4 - Not Found" when I browse Mailenable webmail index.html page.


The possible reason may be:

  1. Webmail is not enabled on domain.
  2. Absent static handler for default document for Mailenable webmail site in IIS.


1) Make sure that webmail is enabled in Plesk Control Panel->domains->>Mail tab->Change Settings. Webmail should be enabled.

2) Make sure that StaticsFile handler is available on global level in IIS:

a. IIS Administrator b. Handler Mappings c. Make sure that the following module mapping exist:

    request path: *
    module: StaticFileModule,DefaultDocumentModule,DirectoryListingModule
    name: staticfile

Also check settings per domain:

  1. Open IIS Administrator
  2. webmail(mewebmail)->Handlers Mappings
