Symptoms

PVA loads its home page forever after logging in, but it is possible to browse servers one by one, until a particular slave node gets hung and does not open its page as well.

When logging in to this stuck server, it is not possible to run df command, it hangs:

[root@vz ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1             15G  3.1G   11G  23% /
tmpfs                 3.9G     0  3.9G   0% /dev/shm
/dev/sda3             273G   54G  206G  21% /vz
^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C^C

There's a network share mounted on the server, which is inaccessible:

[root@vz ~]# mount
...
//192.168.21.32/d$ on /mnt/share type cifs (rw,username=administrator,password=test)

Cause

A hung network (NFS/CIFS/etc) share doesn't allow PVA to obtain the information about mounted partitions on the server, therefore the server page hangs forever.

Resolution

Resolve the connectivity problem with the network share.
